1. SIDS America
SIDS America is a faith-based nonprofit that provides hope, help, and healing to families grieving the loss of a child to SIDS by rallying local financial & emotional support within the communities of these families and providing grief support, prayer, financial assistance, and awareness.
The CJ Foundation is a national non-profit devoted to eliminating the tragedy of sudden unexpected infant deaths, supporting grieving families, advancing medical research, furthering parent and professional education, and advocating for the health and survival of all children.
The Compassionate Friends provides grief support to families after the death of a child. The organization works to take people out of the isolation society imposes on the bereaved and lets them express their grief naturally.
The American SIDS Institute is a national nonprofit health care organization dedicated to the prevention of sudden infant death and the promotion of infant health through an aggressive, comprehensive nationwide program.
5. First Candle
First Candle is an organization dedicated to promoting healthy children and supporting grieving families. The group offers counselors available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help you through the difficult time following the death of your baby.
Centering.org is an organization dedicated to providing resources for people experiencing all types of grief, including grief associated with the loss of an infant.
SIDS and Kids is an international network based in Australia that provides educational materials and bereavement support for families who have experienced the loss of a child.
8. SIDS Support
SIDS Support is a Facebook community created by Jamie Tople, a mother who lost her three-month-old son to SIDS. The group provides a sense of community and daily words of support for those affected by the loss of a child.
Hannah’s Hope is a faith-based group that offers families who have experienced infant loss a place to find comfort, support, and resources to help in the grieving process. The organization work to validate the lives of lost babies by affirming that they are valuable and meaningful.
10. Baby Center
Baby Center is an online resource dedicated to all aspects of new infant care. The site offers a community form for SIDS and infant loss in which many bereaved parents actively participate, sharing knowledge and support.
